The Project

The client came to us looking to tear down their old underutilized den and instead build a master suite addition, a new living room and expand their kitchen. Together, we came up with the perfect layout to fit the needs of their growing family.

The client came to us looking to tear down their old underutilized den and instead build a master suite addition, a new living room and expand their kitchen. Together, we came up with the perfect layout to fit the needs of their growing family.

Living Room
The living room is divided into the dining area that is right next to the kitchen and a nice gathering area with a fireplace and a cozy window alcove. The interior is completed in light warm shades with rustic wooden accents, altogether creating a warm and welcoming feel.

The Kitchen
The 122 sq.ft narrow u-shaped kitchen was in need of a serious upgrade. We took down the wall and expanded into what used to be the living room, creating a spacious new kitchen with lots of storage. The kitchen now boasts a large island with a breakfast bar - the family’s new favorite gathering spot for the weekend mornings.

Master Suite
The new master suite addition includes a bedroom with a desk by the window and a spacious walk-in closet, and a private bathroom with a walk-in shower.

The bedroom is completed in light neutrals and has lots of natural lighting with a bay window overlooking the backyard. The bathroom vanity matches in style the kitchen cabinets, and the walk-in shower is tiled with soft green ceramic tile that adds a peaceful spa-like feel to the space.
